Welcome to MARL. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and your purchase of MARL products. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

This website is operated by MARL (“MARL”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at hello@marlbalm.co.uk.

2. Orders and payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never store your full payment card details. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

  • The free trial gives you one 50ml jar for £0.00 today. Your paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the 30-day trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
  • After the trial, your subscription renews monthly at the price shown at checkout, with free shipping on every renewal.
  • You may pause, skip or cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe customer portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Product information

MARL Natural Deodorant is a cosmetic deodorant, not an antiperspirant and not a medicinal product. Product descriptions on this site are provided for general information and are not medical advice. We recommend a patch test before first use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, imagery, video, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to MARL and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its normal operation, or attempt to access it using a method other than the interface and instructions we provide.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

8. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Nothing in these Terms affects those statutory rights. Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for details of our 30-day happiness guarantee.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
