Does alum stone contain aluminium?
Yes. Alum stone is potassium aluminium sulfate—an aluminium-containing mineral salt, but a different compound from the aluminium chlorohydrate and aluminium-zirconium salts commonly used in conventional antiperspirants.
Conventional antiperspirants are designed to reduce sweat by forming temporary plugs in sweat ducts. MARL is a deodorant: its purpose is odour control, not sweat reduction.
